Introducing Warm Intro Navigator (“WIN”) by GTMfund & Cabal

Referrals are the lifeblood of sales. They convert better than any other sales channel and afford a more natural and authentic sales process.

However, they don’t happen as much as they should. Too often, an investor, advisor, or friend could have made the difference between closed-lost and closed-won, but they simply weren’t aware.

This is where the concept of Warm Intro Navigator (“WIN”) was born. 

Brian Murray (Partner at Craft Ventures & CEO of Cabal) and I were brainstorming how we could fix this referral logjam. Both of us have built and spent our careers building networks and providing value to those networks. A “referral playbook”? Boring. A podcast series? Meh.

We decided to go bigger.

Today, we’re excited to launch our creation: Warm Intro Navigator (“WIN” for short).

WIN is a free, working product. Unlike its predecessors, WIN is all about warm introductions because of their success in generating revenue. However, the process of making a warm introduction can be time-consuming and burdensome. 

WIN seeks to alleviate this burden by streamlining the referral process. 

It’s deceptively simple:

Step 2: get a shareable portal containing your (1) blurb (2) content (3) target accounts and (4) buyer personas.

Supporters can download company overviews and referral blurbs, copy and paste them into their outreach, or use WIN’s pre-set referral email templates (2 buttons to send the referral off!). Additionally, supporters can leverage the power of Cabal to identify connections in their network that match target accounts and buyer profiles, streamlining the referral process further.
